Juicy Double Cheeseburger with Bacon
Halve the brioche bun and generously spread both halves with butter. Toast the cut sides until golden brown on the grill or in a pan.
Thoroughly wash and dry the rocket. Grill the patties and bacon for about 2-3 minutes on each side over high heat, either on the grill or in a pan. Place a slice of cheddar on each patty and cover the pan for about 1 minute to melt the cheese.
Slice the onion and gherkin into thin slices or rings. Spread mayo on the bottom half of the burger bun. Place the two burger patties on it and distribute the red onions, rocket, and bacon strips.
Drizzle generously with cheese sauce over the toppings. If desired, add the sliced gherkins.
Place the top half of the burger bun on top and enjoy it immediately.
