OUR ENVIROMENT

  • Reduce our operational carbon and energy intensity by 3 % year on year
  • We’ve reduced 60 % of our dependency on natural water at Mallow and 30 % at Castlefarm, by optimising our Reverse Osmosis
  • 96 % of our DFI energy systems are governed by ISO 50001: Energy Management System
  • Reduce our farm emissions by 40 % by 2030 from 2018 baseline
  • Increase our ratio of recycables: waste to energy to 65 % : 35 % by 2025
  • Dairygold has committed to planting half a million native Irish trees by 2030

  • Migrating to Learning Management System (LMS) in 2021-22 faciliated better participation and compatability hybrid working

  • 100 % Sustainable Dairy Assurance Scheme (SDAS) & Grassfed Milk
  • 100 % sustainably sourced ingredients by 2025
  • 20 % less plastic in all Cheddar primary packaging since 2022
  • Powder packaging is designed to separate the plastic liner and paper bag better end use recycling
