Homemade Pizza with Cheddar, Apple, and Bacon

Crumble the yeast and mix it thoroughly with sugar. Pour the lukewarm water over it and stir until the yeast is completely dissolved. Let the mixture rest covered for 10 minutes.
Add the flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and knead everything into a smooth dough. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let the dough rise for at least 45 minutes until it has significantly increased in volume.
Preheat the oven to 240°C (475°F). Fry the bacon strips until golden brown and crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan. Fry the apple slices in the remaining bacon fat until lightly browned. Season with pepper and let the apple slices simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid has evaporated.
Roll out or shape the dough and place it on a baking sheet. Drizzle the crust with some olive oil and spread the cheddar over it.
Top the dough with the sautéed apple slices and bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust is crispy and golden brown.
After baking, evenly distribute the bacon and sage on top. Bake the pizza for another 5 minutes until the bacon is crispy. Enjoy your meal!
